A John lewis collaboration project to design a commercially driven knitwear collection for their weekend collection brand - Autumn/Winter 16/17. The collection concept given was "The deep south".
I interpreted the concept of innovative sustinability of re using/ repairing clothing. The idea of recycling clothing using processes of stitching and patch working garments. Stitch line patterns inspired the collection of chunky hand knit garments and brushed out mohair stripes.
